Vorena arches an eyebrow, staring intently at the sword. After a few seconds it clicks. "Of course.." He takes the sword from Avalon and examines it for himself. "I made this sword thousands of years ago, and hid it for safekeeping. I wonder how the Onarav got his hands on it.."

Ayn looks at her father uncomfortably. It hurt her somewhat to look at him, and that made her feel terribly guilty for feeling that way.

Vorena turns the sword over in his hands. "This sword is called "Luce Pura". I designed it to amplify auras. It works with all types but it's specialty is the white aura." He hands it to Ayn. "I think this would probably be better in your possession.."

He leans back, brushing the hair out of his eyes with a quick movement of his hand. The hairs on the back of his neck prickle slightly, and he arches an eyebrow. "I sense another presence in our midst.."

Avalon looks surprised. He ignores what Vorena said about a visitor in the castle. "You made this sword? What do the markings mean? When did you make it?"

Vorena seems amused. "Slow down, brother. Yes, I did make this sword before the war.The designs represent our history up to that point. Let me demonstrate how it works." He stands and faces Ayn. "Ayn, use the sword to charge up a blast of holy energy and shoot it at me."

Ayn gapes at him. "Are you crazy?"

Vorena seems amused. "Perhaps a little, but I have a white aura as well. Holy energy can't harm me. Go ahead."

Ayn frowns but nods. She holds the sword out at him and almost effortlessly the sword glows a blinding white. She swings it at him, sending a wide blast of holy energy straight at Vorena's chest.

The blast hits him and he takes a step back to control his balance, but is otherwise unharmed.

*Sander raids all the cabinets and loads up on food then tries to sneak out of the castle*

Nobody could miss it as Sander barges in, announcing his presence with short strings of curses. As it was, wandering into people's homes dared someone to off you, but here it was nearly a given. Kyushin looks over his shoulder from his spot on the floor and examines Sander with one eye, annoyed but hardly concerned. "...There's your visitor."

Sander looks at the people on the other side of the room. Oh hi guys, I was starving and saw this place so I walked in and found some food. I sure hope I'm not interrupting...

Sander examines each member of the group and wispers to himself "odd bunch of folks.."

Vorena cocks an eyebrow at the strange new man, then steps up next to Ayn, still looking at Sander and trying to sense any threat.

Ayn looks up at Vorena with mixed emotions. She knows he is standing there to protect her, and she appreciates the fact that he cares. But she hates feeling so weak, and desperately wants to be able to care for herself. She holds Luce Pura in front of her, ready to strike if a fight should start.

Sander speaks up

My name is Sander Nadir, I really don't wanna cause any problems with any of you. So please don't feel threatened.

Sander opens his coat revealing his weapons. I really don't plan on using these.

Vorena relaxes slightly and turns towards Avalon, intending to answer to his comment earlier. "It isn't the most powerful sword I have made.. But it's certainly one I'm more proud of. It represents a time when there was very little hatred between us and the rest of the world. I'm hoping that someday it will help create a similar time of peace."

Meanwhile, Ayn has plopped down on the floor and is now trying to clean the rust off of Luce Pura.

Avalon eyes Ayn and Luce Pura. "All we can do is hope, brother. Though I'm sure it won't happen anytime soon." His gaze shifts to Alinos.

Sander moves into the kitchen again and gets himself a nice full meal. Now that he is feeling better and knows the people in the castle won't kill him. He walks back into the room quietly so he won't interrupt anything that is going on. When we see's theres little going on, he speaks up.

So uhh, what is this place...this, castle?

"This castle," Answers a small and weak voice "Was home to the recently demised warlock, Gale Onarav. Now, it is just a place for...recovering, discovering, and grieving." The voice reveals itself to be Roselenna. She's weak, but alive. After combining herself with Rikali in the final battle of Megiddo, she had pulled away and sought refuge in the dream-world created by Reeve minutes before the beast died.

Ayn stops polishing Luce Pura and winces. She had managed to keep her emotions under control by pushing all the horrible thoughts out of her mind, but Rose's mentioning of her older brother only made it impossible to avoid. She sets Luce Pura to the side and stares blankly at the ground.

Vorena notices Ayn's sudden change and frowns. He looks at Rose, speaking quietly. "I ask that you watch your tongue around my daughter. It's hard enough for her to even look at me.."

Avalon speaks telepathically to Sander. "You probably can't speak to me this way so just listen. The young girl was right, this was the house of a warlock who died. He was the older brother of girl with the sword. Emotions are running high here, but if you want to stay, feel free to."

Alinos has been ignoring everyone, sitting with his eyes closed as if the Angel was sleeping. Suddenly his eyes flutter open and he speaks to no one in particular. "...Claw... Where is it?"

Avalon's ears peak at the sounds of Alinos' voice, he looks in his direction and gives a small snort. "I knew you Angels were crazy."

Alinos ignores the shot at him and stands. "A piece of Legion was still here, and it just disappeared. It couldn't of returned to his body, it was unable to for some reason. This is very strange..." (Guess what part of Legion got left there and from when. =P)

"That's what I'd think as well, but Legion doesn't have the power to call the pieces of himself back to him... Something else took it, but we should of sense that." Alinos trails off, contemplating what could of happened.

Lara, noticing Ayn's deteriorating mood, sits down next to the girl and hugs her gently.

"Hm? Oh, sure." Ayn carefully sets the ancient sword in Rose's hands, looking down on the blade in admiration.

Rose moves the earring in her hand over the blade of the sword, towards the base. She concentrates on it, and after a few moments, it is welded into the blade. She carefully hands the sword back. The spell was simple, really. It just created a permenant glue between the sword and the earring. "That earring...was Bianca's. I'd like you to have it. I put it into your sword 'cause I know you never go without a weapon, so that way everytime you use your sword, you can remember how brave and couragoues she was, and that'll help you fight better."

Ayn stares vacantly at the earring for a moment and swallows. Rose may not realize it, but she had just given Ayn a reason to fight. Ever since Rand shattered her world around her and struck her dow, Ayn had no reason to keep fighting, to live even. Now she's reminded that if she doesn't keep fighting then all those who died will have died in vain.

Ayn tries to swallow the lump in her throat and smiles at Rose. "Thanks.. That means a lot to me.."
